Social worker
Go Ahead Organization (Go Ahead!) is a non-government and non-profit organization. It was established with the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia # 559, on February 09, 2018. It is running many projects to help unprivileged people through education, rural development, vocational training skills and family empowerment in rural areas of Baray district, Kampong Thom province and Kampong Leng district, Kampong Chhnang province. iHerb Open Space School is an English School Project of Go Ahead Organization which provides students free of charge for English learning, computer skills, nutrition food, and hygiene. We currently have over 1000 students learning English and computers within iHerb Open Space School (iOSS). Go Ahead! is now seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of social worker.

Duties
– The employee is responsible for all projects within Go Ahead!, whose direct beneficiaries
are the target group. He/she works in close cooperation with the relevant authorities and all
the staff of Go Ahead!
– He/she has to work closely with communities, local authorities and stakeholders to identify
unemployed youth who want to learn skills but cannot. He/she should assess them and refer
them to partner organisations.
– Perform all assessments and documentation of clients, as well as follow-up of all
beneficiaries (students, SSP, and DAP) and document all well in the Database. This includes
interviews with families and clients and home visits as well as making documentation for
legal action.
– Follow up and enter the findings of beneficiaries into the Database.
Requirements
– Bachelor of Social Development is preferred but other fields can apply for.
– Knowledge of English literature and two years of experience in social work are preferred.
– Be willing to learn and self-improvement.
– Being able to work independently and under pressure.
– Be honest and be patient with children.
– Knowledge of child development and child protection.
– Follow and respect the rules or policies of the Go Ahead Organization.
– Being a good attitude
– Prefer to work and live in the countryside
– Be a punctual and a committed person.
– Be a good interpersonal skill.
