Direct Assistant Program
The Direct Assistant Program (DAP) is another development program of Go Ahead Organization which works directly with communities in Taing Kouk and Baray District, Kampong Thom Province, Kampong Leng District, Kampong Chhnang Province, and focus sectors include economic livelihoods, food security, hut fix, health care, and other needs if the fund is available.
This program helps non-privileged people or families with monthly direct assistance (rice and cash)​ to alleviate hunger and warm living so that they are not alone​ in daily living.
OUR PURPOSE
Direct Assistant Program (DAP) aims to provide an opportunity to consider new and different strategies incorporated into the program to ensure that it meets the needs of vulnerable elderly, children, and families who are attending our service. The program helps families to encourage children with needs to learn and become independent.
DAP was designed to relieve some of the needs and stress, preserve the vulnerable elderly, children, and families in the family, and ensure that parents get the help they need without giving up responsibilities and control.
OUR GOAL
Helping up to 28 unprivileged people or families with a monthly direct assistance (rice and cash) in order to alleviate hunger and warm living so that they are not alone in daily living. We also help to fix and build the huts for homeless people.
