Go Ahead organizations also offer scholarships, often based on specific criteria or areas of interest to students from underprivileged families.
Student Support Project
The Student Support Program is to enable underprivileged children, youths, and adults who are unable to afford good education for primary, secondary, high school, university, and vocational training. The purpose of the Student Support and Scholarship Program is to enable poor and vulnerable children who would not be able to afford a good education to get the best education according to their ability.
Our main objectives
- Disability Education Support: Monthly educational material support is provided
- Primary & Secondary School: Support based on each student’s individual situation. i.e., bicycles are provided if the way to school is too long.
- High school support is provided for extra class fees.
- University support/vocational training is provided to pay for university/vocational training fees, food, and accommodation according to the needs.
Indirect University Scholarship
Go Ahead! Normally gets and finds the partnership with the other NGOs who provide the university scholarship for underprivileged grade 12 students, so Go Ahead! is a coordinator. We have started this project since 2017 until now. Nowadays, 30/38 female students are getting our facilitation from this project. Among them, 20 passed to PEPY, 34 passed to PNC, 11 passed to PSE and 3 passed to Child’s Dream Cambodia.
